This actually is normal for observant Jewish businesses.... From sundown on Friday until sundown on Saturday is Shabbat , the Jewish day of rest.

That said, I'll still take a look into this family and other possible connections.

Just wanted to say that being closed on a Saturday shouldn't raise a red flag in this case.
