Well the case is a bit different here imo. In Turkey pizzagate trending because of people like us (1) who really got sickened with the correlation and (2) pro erdogan trolls and their media who wants to show their supporters how US is corrupted. After the failed coup attempt Erdogan is no close to US, more on Putin's side (who saved his ass actually) and claim something like "oh they always say how east is corrupted with underage marriages, child abuses but look whats going on in US"
Its not a well prepared article, it's cheesy but who reads this newspaper is cheesy too. So they match well.

This is actually very strange.
Sabah is not the "biggest newspaper" in Turkey. Nobody reads it. They are very pro-goverment, pro-Erdoğan. Their news are usually filled with lies and click-baity captions. Definitly not a credible source. It's almost a propaganda tool for the goverment, just like most of the press in Turkey.
So its curious why they published this.

This newspaper is pro-government and has published and will publish anything that has shock value and smear anyone "that is not us". The fact that they made this the news isn't necessarily good news at all and, in fact, it is just driving Turkish people to become even more anti-western right now (which might or might not be their political agenda) as I can clearly see on Twitter.
