Tbe comet is similar to a seed, or if more perverted, a drop of xxx. And there are also many comets (shooting stars) at the end of I, Pet, Goat II (as an asside). Please watch on YouTube though, as you'll hear the hearts everywhere, especially on JESUS!!!
The symbolism is basically fertility. All the triangle on the posters represent fire and water - together (pointing together), the butterfly, representing the female, or fertility.
Also, their old logo (the two crossed bats) is clearly the butterfly symbol on the FBI doc.
It's mostly wiccan/pagan/black magic stuff.

The name "Comet Ping Pong" is a really random collection of words, unless it was a for a ping pong place. But for a pizza place, it's pretty fucking weird.

That part has been explained, but the symbolism of comets, as described though the link, I feel can be tied into this whole ordeal. The headless body, the power over others, yada yada. Like, we've made a connection to "ping pong", and the abbreviation of cp, but why "comet" ping pong. Why not some other "c" word.
