just concerned that this may be our weak link. we should have fallbacks like screenshots, and backups maybe with waybackmachine as well?

Possibly. But my reasoning is that keeping everything in digital form makes them vulnerable to hacking and deletion. Having a physical copy means that no matter how many times it gets scrubbed, you still have the evidence.

Today I had errors when trying to log in and just assumed they probably got a hold of the site or something. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
